FORESEEN - GRAVE DANGER
Foreseen es una banda Finlandesa de Helsinki que trae consigo una receta demente de brutalidad incesante. Mucho Thrash Metal americano (muy a menudo en casi todas las canciones, los gritos de MIRKO NUMMELIN hace acordar a los gruñidos de Paul Baloff ), mucho CROSSOVER americano, hablando de clásicos que la mayoría conoce (EXODUS, OVERKILL, DRI, SOD...) pero tocado con personalidad. Por suerte no es una banda copia-revival, todo lo contrario, si te gustan las bandas antes mencionadas y estás metido de lleno (o no tanto) en el género, te van a volar la cabeza seguramente.
Los riffs criminales no faltan, nunca van a faltar en éste disco. Pero un detalle que es imposible pasar por alto es el de la producción (a cargo de BRAD BOATRIGHT, JUSSI VUOLA y SEVERI PEURA). Y es que "GRAVE DANGER" tiene unos bajos (a cargo de TATU KUISMA) que te hacen apretar los dientes hasta que la jeta se te llena de sangre proveniente de las encías. Tal vez el volumen general del disco sea bastante alto, por eso saturan un poco los "washi wash" de los platos, pero está grabado así, posiblemente con esa intención de dejarte sordo una semana completa, así que, no es un problema (después de todo la mayoría de las personas que escuchan esta música ya quedaron o están por quedar sordas (?)). Es simplemente el aspecto que cierra la idea de la banda de partirte la frente con una espada y jugar con tus sesos.
Foreseen it's a Finnish band from Helsinki that brings with it a lunatic mix of incessant brutality. A lot of American Thrash Metal (very often in almost all the songs, the shouting of MIRKO NUMMELIN brings back Paul Baloff's growling), much American Crossover, always talking about classics that most know (EXODUS, OVERKILL, DRI, SOD...) but played with personality. Fortunately it's not a copy-revival band, if not, on the contrary, if u like aforementioned and you dig the genre (or not so much) this band is gonna blow up your head for sure.
Criminal riffs are not lacking in this record. But there's is a little detail that is impossible to miss and is the production (In charge of BRAD BOATRIGHT, JUSSI VUOLA and SEVERI PEURA). And is that "GRAVE DANGER" has some basses (By TATU KUISMA) that make you clench your teeth until your face fills with blood coming from the gums. Maybe the overall volume in this album is quite high, so they saturate a bit the "washi wash" of the cymbal, but it is recorded like this, so possibly is made with that intention of leaving you deaf for a full week, so it's not a problem at all (After all, most people who listen to this music have already left or are going to be deaf (?)). It is simply the aspect that closes the band's idea of splitting your forehead with a sword and playing with your brains.
